• (1)   Change Management can be messy, but it works: You may have noticed from the CIP interviews that there are bound to be some bumps along the way as you work to improve adoption court processes in your jurisdiction. But if you trust the Change Management Process and move your project through each of the phases you’re more likely to implement a program that generates the outcomes you’d like to see.
  • (2)   Data never disappears: Data collection and analysis is an ongoing activity. You’ll always be looking at data, drawing reasonable inferences, and adjusting your approach based on the data you review. The more comfortable you are pulling and reviewing data the better off you’ll be.
  • (3)   Projects can take a long time, and that’s ok: Some of the projects you heard about took years to complete. We work in complex, adaptive systems. There are rarely simple solutions to the issues we face. We’re better off adopting a more experimental approach to problem solving, probing here and there, trying new things out, and watching to see what works. Give your project time to develop and generate meaningful data before you make drastic changes.

Ok, that’s it. Good luck!
